Auction Representation in Bangkok

Personal auction representation for collectors seeking access to rare Thai banknotes at major Bangkok auctions, including Eur-Seree Collecting.

This service is designed for collectors who wish to purchase banknotes at Thai auctions but cannot attend in person.

I represent the client during the auction process, help review and select suitable lots, place bids within agreed limits, collect successful lots, inspect the notes, and arrange further delivery or personal handover.

All recommendations are based on my experience with the Thai banknote market. The final decision regarding participation and maximum bids is always made by the client.

Service Includes
• Auction catalogue review
• Lot selection assistance
• Market value guidance
• Bidding on your behalf
• Collection and inspection of won lots
• Shipping or personal handover coordination

Representation Fee

The Auction Representation Fee is €70 per auction. It is a one-time fee for participation in one auction, not a fee per lot.

Purchase Coordination

A 5% Purchase Coordination Fee applies only to successfully purchased lots and is calculated from the Hammer Price.

Auction Costs

Eur-Seree currently charges a 10% Buyer’s Premium plus 7% VAT on that premium, equal to an effective 10.7% surcharge on the Hammer Price.

Example Calculation

If a lot is won at a Hammer Price of 20,000 THB, the auction house invoice would be calculated as follows:

Hammer Price
20,000 THB
Buyer’s Premium 10%
2,000 THB
VAT on Premium 7%
140 THB
Total payable to auction house
22,140 THB

Additional costs include the one-time €70 Auction Representation Fee per auction, the 5% Purchase Coordination Fee calculated from the Hammer Price of successfully purchased lots, and shipping or personal handover costs if required.

Participation Process

Before the auction, the client provides the selected lots, the maximum bid for each lot, and the total auction budget.

Funds received are used only for the agreed auction and only within the pre-approved maximum bids.

After the Auction

The final financial report is prepared after the auction results are confirmed and the lots are processed.

Usually, the client receives the detailed report on the third business day after the auction. The report includes won lots, invoice details, photographs and a full financial breakdown.

If No Lots Are Won

If no selected lots are won, the 5% Purchase Coordination Fee is not charged.

Unused purchase funds are returned after deducting any actual banking or transfer costs, or may be kept for participation in the next auction.

Auction Frequency

Major Eur-Seree auctions are usually held three times per year: spring, summer and winter.

Clients may also follow the auction live through the official auction house Facebook broadcast.

Important Note

This is a private collector service, not a standard retail product. All participation is arranged individually and subject to prior discussion.

The purpose of this service is to provide collectors outside Thailand with a safe and convenient way to participate in major Thai auctions through a local representative.
